Board Chairman
RT REV. DANIEL DE-GRAFT BRACE

BOARD CHAIRMAN

The Rt. Rev. Daniel De-Graft Brace has over forty (40) years’ experience in leadership, education, and church ministry, culminating in him serving as the Bishop of the Sekondi Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana from 2016 to 2022.

He joined the Board of Ahantaman Rural Bank PLC in May 2019, having previously served as the Chairman of the Bank’s Subsidiary Company, Ahantaman Trading Company, from 2013 to 2019. He also served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of the Bank from 2024 and was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors in October 2025.

Rt. Rev. Daniel De-Graft Brace holds a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Coast, MPhil. Industrial Psychology from the University of Ghana, Bachelor of Arts from the University of Ghana, Diploma in Theology from the Trinity Theological Seminary, and A Teachers Certificate ‘A’ from the Gbewaa Teacher Training College.

MR. DOMINIC COBBINAH

VICE CHAIRMAN

Mr Dominic Cobbinah is an astute banker with over thirty-one (31) years’ experience in the banking industry. His career has been with the GCB Bank PLC where he has risen through the ranks from Probationary Officer to Branch Operations Officer. As his dexterity became evident, he was transferred to the Head Office where he served as Deputy Head of Operations – Support Department, Head of Operations – Support Department, Head of Department – Central Processing Centre. He is currently the Head of Operations at the Head Office of GCB Bank PLC.

He joined the Board of Ahantaman Rural Bank PLC in July 2025 and was appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Board in October of the same year. He is also the chairman of the Human Resource/ICT/Legal & ESG Committee.

Mr. Dominic Cobbinah holds a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Coast, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography & Resource Development from the University of Ghana. He is an alumnus of Schlich School of Executive Education, Yorke University, Toronto, Canada with specialty in Lean Operations and Operational Excellence. He also undertook an Executive Programme in Digital Transformation at London School of Business, UK.

He is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers (Ghana), and a member of the Institute of Directors – Ghana.

MS. GRACE ESHUN

BOARD MEMBER

Grace Eshun is an accomplished educationist, mathematician and administrator. She has taught mathematics at the basic and secondary level and served as Housemistress and Assistant Headmistress at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School. She also served as Assistant Headmistress at Nsein Senior High School. She is currently the substantive Headmistress of the Methodist Senior High School, Sekondi.

Ms. Grace Eshun has affinity for entrepreneurship, and has trained a few women youth in interior decoration, preparation of liquid soap, and other entrepreneurial skills in the Ahanta West Municipality.

In 2008, she won the 1st position in the National Best Teacher Award (Science and Mathematics category). She also composed the School Anthem of Baidoo Bonsoe SHS.

She joined the Board of Ahantaman Rural Bank PLC in October 2023 and has served on the Human Resource/ICT/Legal & ESG and the Credit Committees. She currently chairs the Credit Committee of the Board.

Ms. Grace Eshun holds a Master of Arts Degree (MA) in Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Mathematics from the University of Education.

MR. CHRISTOPHER KOBINA DENTU

BOARD MEMBER

Mr. Christopher Kobina Dentu is an experienced banker and worked for 29 years in various roles with the Bank until his retirement in 2021. He started his working career with the Ghana Railways Corporation from September 1984 to July 1992 and then resigned to join Ahantaman Rural Bank.

He rose through the ranks and retired on the grade of Manager. He served as Branch Manager, Assistant Systems Administrator, and Head of Banking Operations Department. In the course of his employment, attended several Banking, Leadership and Management Courses organized by Association of Rural Banks, Bank of Ghana, ARB Apex Bank Ltd, and other related financial institutions to upgrade his skills. He was a member of the Teams selected by ARB Apex Bank to conduct a User Acceptance Test (UAT) for the T-24 Banking Application and drafting of Operation Risk Manual for RCBs.

He joined the Board of Ahantaman Rural Bank PLC in July 2025 and has since served on the Finance, Audit, Risk & Compliance (FARC) Committee of the Board which he currently chairs.

Mr. Christopher Kobina Dentu holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) Degree and a Diploma in Commerce from the University of Cape Coast.
